You want to open a Wema ALAT Account? You can do that within few minutes on your smart phone.

Here are the procedures:

•Download and install the ALAT app on your device from your app store 

•When you are done downloading, open the app on your phone

•Click on "sign up" and enter your Bank Verification Number (BVN) and your phone number (a valid one)

NOTE: Your BVN will be used to retrieve all your personal information which is on the CBN database, so you don't have to bother filling any long form when signing up.

At this juncture, your Wema ALAT Account is opened and functional, but to be eligible to make withdrawals, ATM payments etc, there are some steps needed to be taken.

•You'll be needed to upload a photo of your valid means of identification eg your international passport, your driver's license, your national ID card etc, with a photo of your utility bills (Not older than 30days) and your passport photograph

You can make use of your camera to take the photos of each of the documents. Then open the ALAT app on your phone and click "Upload My Document", upload one after the other.
